The University offers courses leading to three year BA and B Sc Program in CBCS (six Semesters). The medium of Instructions are both English and Assamese.
Arts: BA Honours in Assamese, Economics, English, Education, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science and Sociology
Science: BSc Honours in Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology
 
B A and B Sc Program in Semester System (Six Semesters):
The candidates who have passed +2 or equivalent standard are eligible to seek admission in to the B.A. & B.Sc. Program in Semester System (Six Semesters).
Bachelor of Arts (B A):  A student who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or an Equivalent examination (10+2) recognized as such by the University, shall be eligible for admission into the First Semester of the Six Semester Degree Course in Arts in Semester System.
Bachelor of Science (B Sc): A student who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) in Science of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or an equivalent examination (10+2) recognized as such by the University, shall be eligible for admission into the First Semester of the Six Semester Degree Course in Science in Semester System.
