He has 22 Research publications of international repute in his credit along with 3 books and one book Chapter in Microbial Biotechnology Edited by JN Govil STUDIUM PRESS LLC, USA. He is the recipient of the NEC Merit Scholarship, and DRDO Junior Research Fellowship and has been awarded International Research Leadership Award “Distinguished Researcher Award in Microbial Bio-Technology”. He is a member of the World Research Council, a member of the editorial board of International Journals, and a reviewer of International Journals.

Before joining Madhabdev University he has experience working in Dibrugarh University, Tezpur University, Ministry of Science and Technology, GOI, and Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University
